Recipe ~ Maple Glazed Carrots
1 1/2 lb carrots, pared
1/4 tsp salt
3 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Cut carrots crosswise into halves. In a
large skillet bring 1 cup water to a boil; add the carrots and salt.
Simmer, covered 10 -15 minutes or until tender. Drain in a
colander. Return carrots to skillet; add the butter, maple syrup
and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat until carrots are glazed.
